Voicemail

Voicemail messages can be recorded at any time by pressing the envelope key on the phone and following the prompts. A PIN is required to access the voicemail menu, and the default PIN is 2244. The PIN should be changed once the user has gained access to the voicemail menu. 

All users are required to set up their voice greetings and changing their PIN to be used in directories.

Options:

• 0 - Access the message menu. 
• 1 - Record the unavailable message. 
• 3 - Record the name. 
• 5 - change the pin.  

Full voicemail functionality can be achieved remotely by simply dialing your extension and depressing the * key. You will be prompted to enter your PIN to access the voicemail menu.

Users additionally have the option to check voicemail of co-workers if they know the associated PIN. To achieve this functionality, simply dial *97 followed by #. You will be prompted to enter the extension of the co-worker followed by #. You will then be prompted to enter the pin associated with the extension followed by #.
